with Chaves County Clerk to Protect Sensitive Information

Professional Document Systems announced today the sale and installation of ID
Shield Software to the Chaves County Clerk, located in Roswell, New Mexico.
This identity protection solution automatically identifies and redacts sensitive
personal information, guarding against identity theft for the residents of
Chaves County.
When
Chaves County realized the need to protect sensitive information on public
documents stored on county networks, they saw that going through hundreds of
thousands of records and blocking these items manually would require hundreds
and hundreds of hours of manpower from their staff. Looking for an
automated solution to this problem, they contacted PDS in El Paso, the same
company that installed their document imaging software.
PDS
responded with ID Shield software, an automatic redaction solution thatt makes

is able to block Social Security Numbers, Account Numbers and other sensitive
data from public records such as marriage licenses, birth and death
certificates, real estate and election records. This automated redaction
solution could be integrated within a week of purchase by PDS, tailored to their
documents.
Since
Chaves County has older documents that do not fit to their current forms, I.D.
Shield has a handy tool for redacting handwritten text as well. In short,
all of the documents handled by Chaves County are now safe from ID theft due to
this software installation.
